Every time we drove to Bosnia or back to Austria, I was fascinated by the wind sculpture when passing through the Austrian-Slovenian border. As a child, I could hardly wait to drive through it and always wished I could look at it for longer than just the few seconds while passing underneath. I often turned around to watch it a little longer through the rear car window. The most exciting moments were when it was windy, and the shapes were spinning.

Inspired by this childhood memory, I created a stained glass piece using shapes from my recollection, combined with a direct interpretation after studying photos of the installation.
